Terms of the experiment.

Murphy's Million is a voluntary internet experiment. A contribution is not a charitable donation, investment, raffle entry, emergency appeal or purchase of goods. It does not promise a financial return, prize, ownership interest or other benefit.

Your Murphy Number

A verified supporter may claim one commemorative digital Murphy Number. The number and card have no cash value, are not transferable, and come with no promise of resale value. Numbers are issued from available inventory, including previously skipped numbers.

Verification and fair use

Claims must match an eligible Ko-fi or PayPal payment. One valid number is allowed per payment email. Duplicate, fraudulent, abusive or unverifiable claims may be rejected or revoked. PayPal claims may require manual review when automatic verification is unavailable.

Payments and refunds

Payments are handled by Ko-fi or PayPal. Contributions should be treated as non-refundable unless the payment platform or applicable law requires otherwise.

Availability

The site, verification services and downloadable cards are provided as available. Temporary outages or third-party payment delays may happen; use Retrieve My Number after service returns rather than submitting a second claim. PayPal payments that cannot be verified automatically may require manual review.
